Having originally delivered two of Eden Park Garden Centre’s earlier canopy installations over 20 years ago, we were pleased to be approached directly when the requirement arose for an additional covered area on site. The brief was to create a new canopy that would enable better use of an underutilised space within the garden centre, providing sheltered display areas for seasonal products ahead of the summer months.
An Ascot Barrel Canopy was selected for the project, incorporating PVC fabric cladding to deliver effective weather protection whilst maintaining an open and welcoming environment for customers. As part of the overall solution, the project required planning permission, which was carefully considered during the design stage to ensure the canopy integrated successfully with the existing site and met all necessary requirements.
The completed canopy has successfully transformed a previously under used area into a practical and flexible covered display space, supporting Eden Park Garden Centre’s seasonal retail requirements.
Timescale: 6 weeks for design and fabrication, 4 days for on-site installation.

Yes unlike some solutions that need to be taken down in the winter or during high winds our canopies are designed to be useable all year round. The cladding materials as well as providing shade are also waterproof so that they can be used during wet weather.
No, all canopies are fixed on to concrete pads or bases as the structures can lift out from the ground if not fixed into a suitable concrete base due to the uplift created by wind acting on the roof area.
No, our prices are all inclusive.
Subject to appropriate cleaning and maintenance we offer the following guarantees:-
In relation to our canopies Building Regulations specify the standard to which they should be built i.e. strength, fire rating of materials etc. Again it is advisable to contact your local Building Control officer(s), as a rule of thumb any canopy over 30m2 will require conformity to building regulations and an application will need to be made although this figure can be lower. Most of our structures are supplied conforming to the requirements for these regulations as standard and generic sets of structural calculations can be supplied free of charge to demonstrate to Building Control the integrity of the proposed structure and foundations.
We'd love to hear from you
