Heritage Community School – Bespoke Canopy

Our client required a Bespoke Canopy that would be suitable for various usages, mainly for pupil rest area, but also as an outdoor classroom where the rear feature wall would be used to project imagery for numerous teaching mediums. Since being installed the Canopy has also been used for plays and concerts. The style of Canopy was based upon our very versatile Oxford with a Barrel roof centre span and two linked Lean-to styles to give a complete overall covered area of 24m wide x 10m long. The roof was covered with a white Flame Retardant PVC to give good light in all weather conditions.

Will our concerns over children and staff safety be addressed prior to installation?

We have been working within schools for many years. All contractors are Clovis approved and CRB checked. Full risk assessments are carried out prior to starting installation taking into consideration your requirements and safety fencing is erected wherever needed at no additional charge.

What guarantees are offered?

Subject to appropriate cleaning and maintenance we offer the following guarantees:-

Framework – 25 years against failure within design, wind and snow loadings
Polycarbonate – 10 years against discolouration from sunlight
Fabric Cladding – 10 years against degradation / failure from sunlight

What colour can the framework be?

Each canopy framework is supplied in the colour of choice from the standard RAL range. A match for most school colour schemes can be found with that range if required.
